When ferrous metals are derusted with this product prior to welding, remove all traces of the derusting agent from the metal by thoroughly rinsing or scrubbing it away with water. This will avoid any possibility that harmful fumes from the rust remover might be generated by the intense heat of welding. Be sure that both the product label and this MSDS are read by the welder.
